We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving seasons (summer months and end of financial year). However, we can often accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability.
What items are not allowed for transportation?
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport hazardous materials including flammable liquids, gases, explosives, perishable food items, plants, pets, cash, jewelry, important documents, and any illegal items.
Is my stuff insured during transit?
Yes, all shipments are covered under our transit insurance policy. We offer different coverage options, and you can choose additional protection for high-value items during the booking process.
Can I pack some items myself?
Absolutely! You can pack whatever you prefer, though we recommend using our professional packing services for fragile and valuable items. We can provide packing materials if you choose to do it yourself.
How do I prepare for moving day?
Prepare by: 1) Creating an inventory list, 2) Separating valuables to carry personally, 3) Defrosting refrigerators/freezers, 4) Disconnecting appliances, 5) Ensuring clear pathways, and 6) Having parking arranged for our truck if needed.
I want to shift only a refrigerator? Can I still get quotes?
Of course, why not? You can still get quotes but packers and movers companies may demand a minimum charge which might seem high when shifting only 1-2 items.
Is there any obligation when getting moving estimates?
No, not at all! You are free to make decision on your own. There is absolutely no obligation. Estimates are FREE and easy; and your information with us is safe, secure and confidential. So don’t worry.
What do I have to do, if for some reason I have to change my relocation date?
You need to inform the company as soon as possible about the changes in your moving plans. You also need to keep in mind that there may be changes in the cost estimate as per the selection of new date you have decided for the location.
